Operations Specialist

As a key member of the Operations department you’ll perform a wide variety of operational procedures to ensure efficient workflow, superior client service and compliance with bank policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of department processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with bank policies
  • Process Reg E disputes, perform fraud review and prevention, and perform ATM/Debit card maintenance
  • Act as first level troubleshooting support for operations assistants
  • Provide operational support for online banking, bill pay, and mobile deposit by identifying and resolving technical issues
  • Perform reporting and analysis for ACH origination and settlement files
  • Develop and maintain efficient document work flow and check back review processes
  • Assist in the implementation of document imaging technology
  • Provide back-up for daily operational transactions and procedures including check and ACH returns, non-posts, stop pays, chargebacks, wires, ATM adjustments, etc.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of changing trends and regulations that relate to operational policies and service standards

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of bank operations experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to identify and resolve issues. Bachelor’s degree and experience with Fiserv software and its ancillary products preferred.

Client Specialist

As a Client Specialist you’ll be the face of the bank for our clients, establishing relationships to learn about their financial needs and provide superior service to ensure a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greet all clients and answer phone calls to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Manage general phone mailbox
  • Sort and distribute mail and file invoices
  • Perform basic teller functions and client account maintenance for walk in clients – tasks may include:
    • Process deposits, withdrawals, and transfers
    • Mailing of bank notices
    • Issue cashier’s checks
    • Update client files
    • Complete daily balancing of teller drawer
    • Process loan payments
  • Maintain conference rooms and kitchen and ensure adequate supplies are available
  • Adhere to the bank’s policies, procedures, security requirements and government regulations
  • Participate in on-going training to enhance knowledge of banking and keep abreast of new and/or changes in regulations

Successful candidates will be professional, friendly, great communicators, detail oriented, and dedicated. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required and a college degree along with one year of work experience is preferred.
